Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be featured at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con, with Marvel set to reveal “additional information” on the highly anticipated superhero sequel.
Nothing else has been revealed at this point, so we don’t know exactly how much info will be dropped at the event or what it’ll be. Still, a new trailer would be nice, right? Perhaps that’s wishing thinking, but anything fresh at this point is welcome.
San Diego Comic-Con is taking place July 20 – 23, so we won’t have to wait too long to find out more details on Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is scheduled for release on October 20, 2023 exclusively for PS5. The game takes place a few years after the events of Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and sees Peter Parker and Miles Morales teaming up to take down new super villains including Venom and Kraven the Hunter.
Players will have the chance to switch between Peter and Miles in the game’s open-world environment, which is roughly twice the size of the original game’s New York setting. Insomniac Games later revealed that it isn’t planning a demo for the game, and that despite the inclusion of two main characters, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was always planned as a single-player title.
