Savage Game Studios boss Michail Katkoff has departed the company less than a year after the studio was acquired by Sony Interactive Entertainment, marking another major loss for the PlayStation console maker’s mobile division.
Speaking on LinkedIn, Katkoff said:
I’d like to believe I’ve done my fair part in taking the company from zero to one. Now I’m eager to watch from the side as Nadjim and Mike take it from one to one hundred. In the same breath, I wish nothing but the best to Olivier Courtemarche and Kris Davis who are leading PlayStation’s charge onto mobile. Can’t wait to play all the amazing games from all the fantastic developers!
Just last month Sony lost another major part of its mobile division, with Nicola Sebastiani, who moved to the company from Apple, revealed that he had decided to leave to “pursue a new, undisclosed opportunity.”
