Sony’s launched its overhauled PS Plus service in North America, and one thing that people have flagged up is that the PS5 will now notify you if any titles in your wishlist have been added to the Extra or Premium tiers for Sony’s flagship online service.
This is obviously an extension of the fact the PS5 already gives you informed about any discounted games, but it’s good to see nonetheless. Sony will hopefully be pretty generous when it comes to the number of games added to PS Plus Extra & PS Plus Premium, so this should prove to be a handy tool for keeping track of things.

PS Plus’ shiny new incarnation offers three tiers. PS Plus Essential is basically what the service has been up to this point, PS Plus Extra adds a bunch of PS4 & PS5 games from Sony’s old PS Now service, while PS Plus Premium completes the set with PS3, PS2, PS1 & PSP titles.
Regarding PSOne games, it’s been confirmed that the US versions of these titles will run at 60Hz, which is superior to the shoddy 50Hz that PAL gamers had to put with back in the day.
