PlayStation Plus subscribers are privy to free games every month, something that has long been a tentpole of the service.
Just as important however is the access to online multiplayer titles it provides, and this weekend non-subscribers will be able to play online for free.
Running from February 18-19, anyone with a PlayStation Network account will be able to take their skills online across PS5 and PS4 players.
The news was announced through a new PlayStation Blog post all around what Sony is calling the PlayStation Plus Festival Of Play, where leading up to the launch of PSVR2 it seems, subscribers can enjoy special discounts, game trials, and enter in contests to win a new tv or a pair of headphones.
It’s also the reason that this month’s lineup of games being added to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalogs is so stacked, with games like Horizon Forbidden West and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.
