Giving us an in-depth glimpse at Mirage’s depiction of the golden Islamic Age, Assassin’s Creed Mirage certainly looks the part – bringing the back the parkour, stealth and maddening crowds that so well defined the earlier games in the franchise.
Indeed, in gameplay and visual terms, Mirage would seem to bear an almost overwhelming resemblance to the very first game in the Assassin’s Creed series. Regardless, Assassin’s Creed Mirage looks set to be breath of fresh air for those who have long found themselves disillusioned by the more open-world RPG trappings of recent games in the series.
