Fallout 76 was just given a new update, and while there’s still no native PS5 version of the game, it now does include a feature that is decidedly next-gen.
Though it’s not listed in the patch notes, the new update titled Once In A Blue Moon seems to include a secret FPS boost for those who’re playing Fallout 76 on their PS5 consoles.
Multiple players across Reddit and Twitter are reporting that the game is running at 60FPS now, though there’s been no confirmation that a 60FPS update has been pushed by Bethesda.
With or without the confirmation, the game seems to be running far smoother for a number of users, so at the end of the day what matters most is that the game now runs better than ever before, and that can only be a good thing.
Along with this secret 60FPS boost, the Once In A Blue Moon update also brings cryptids, public events, side quests, and more.
