According to the folks at PowerPyx, Square Enix‘s upcoming Final Fantasy XVI will take you a whopping 70-90 hours to each the shiny Platinum Trophy.
Final Fantasy XVI has 40 Bronze Trophies, six Silver Trophies, and three Gold Trophies to unlock ahead of the Platinum Trophy. PowerPyx lists the difficulty at 5/10, although it lowers to 3/10 if you are using any Cheat Rings. So there you have it! If you are planning on getting the Platinum, be prepared to spend a lot of hours in Final Fantasy XVI. But then again, that’s what you wanted from a Final Fantasy game, right?
Final Fantasy XVI is scheduled for release on June 22, 2023 for PS5. While Square Enix originally had no plans for a Day One patch, producer Yoshi-P has said that it is preparing to release one to address various issues. Meanwhile, the development team also revealed that the game will include a special ‘Final Fantasy mode‘ as part of its New Game Plus offering.
